Logos 7 Stuck Downloading Updates and Preparing Library

Hello,

I am installing Logos 7 (7.8.0.0037) on a new MacBook Air.  Logos has been stuck in two operations:

1. Downloading 5.07 GB of updates 0% complete
2. Preparing library

I have been working on this for a few days, restarting the machine, restarting Logos, trying at different times of the day (assuming the problem might be my internet connection in Rwanda).  But, no luck.  I have used the "Update Resources" command in the command line, as well.  But, it will not budge.  I have looked through the forums at related posts, but noneof the suggestions have worked.
